Benefice Churches Donate to Haiti Appeal
During services held across the benefice last Sunday, Revd. William Burke offered the community the opportunity to decide if we wished to make a donation to support the people of Haiti. Overwhelmingly, the congregations voted to donate the Sunday collection and any other money donated at the end of each service. The Children’s Church service held in the Cedar Centre also donated their collection. This collection will remain open to anyone who wishes to donate until the end of this week. Children at Castor school are also invited to donate through a collection to be made at school. All money raised will be sent directly to an Anglican church in Haiti who need money to feed, water and shelter their community members.

If you wish to make a donation, please make a cheque payable to Castor PCC and deliver to the Rectory, 5 Church Hill, Castor, Peterborough, PE5 7AU (please be assured that this will be safe from any dogs that may welcome your delivery at the door!) or deliver money to Helen Boulton c/o Castor School.

Please mark your envelope clearly with Haiti Fund. This appeal will remain open until Sunday 24th January 2010.
