Thank you for thinking about giving.
YOUR SUPPORT MEANS EVERYTING
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who contribute to the life of our very special church in Castor. The support given to all of the various fundraising events throughout the year is hugely appreciated as is the contribution made by so many on so many of levels. In addition to expressing a big thank you for what is already given, we find ourselves in a position where we need to ask for further financial support.
The St. Kyneburgha Finance committee and PCC continue to work tirelessly to try and ensure we create a sustainable financial position. However, despite substantial cost reduction we find ourselves in a situation where income no longer matches outgoings. To ensure the financial security of the church, we need to get the church finances in a situation where daily running costs are met through regular contributions. To achieve this we need to increase regular giving by £12,000 per annum. We are therefore seeking further financial support and requesting regular donations via standing order, the benefits for which are outlined within the enclosed leaflet which you may download
Clearly we live in times where everyone is having to tighten their belt, and so we are appealing to the wider community in the anticipation that if we all pull together then we can achieve this target.
If you feel that you would like to contribute we would therefore be very grateful if you would complete the enclosed form and return it to The Benefice Office, the Cedar Centre, Church Walk, Castor, PE5 7AX. Alternatively you can set up a standing order or make a donation directly with your bank. If you are a tax payer, then by completing the Gift Aid section in the leaflet, St. Kyneburgha’s will receive a further 25 pence back from the tax man for every £1 that you give. Gift aid forms can also be downloaded here or obtained by e-mailing email@example.com.
If you wish to understand more, then please do not hesitate to contact us via the Benefice Office.
Once again a big thank you.
